In May of 1989, four businessmen with a common love for nature, invested their savings in a small gypsophila farm north of Quito. Renamed "Latinflor", this farm was to form the basis of one of the country's most successful and highly regarded flower growers, Flortec Flowers. Now comprising seventeen independent farms, Flortec Flowers is based around one very simple aim: to grow truly magnificent flowers of consistent high quality. We believe success comes from getting better, not necessarily getting bigger. Which is why all of our farms are smaller, owner-operated concerns where the principals are directly involved from propagating to picking to packing. The result is top quality fillers, focals, and line flowers. Which is why we still have the same contented customers that we started with in 1989.
